| Well, well,
well, I was back in Australia in May 2008 and I had a great week there,
this time around I went to Sydney and surroundings and the country really
gets me addicted, simply love it! I was lucky with the weather as well,
you could wear a shirt during the day time but it could get chilly in
the evenings- good to cuddle up with someone then and get a bit closer…
I met some real nice people there and even traveling alone there I was
not alone for too long, did some marvelous day trips to the Blue Mountains
and Hunter Valley, that was great! Man, had a ball with my fellow travelers
and can really recommend to go there, not just as the wine makes people
bit tipsy but the longer the tour lasts the funnier it gets. Blue Mountains
is a great place as well, I am so happy that I have been there. Maybe
it is the time to set a link to a local tour operator which is called
Activitytours www.activitytours.com.au, try them out if you are in Sydney,
you won’t regret it (and no, I don’t get any commission by
setting a link..) I can really imagine to live
in Australia in the near future, so laid back, peaceful and hustle free
there and I feel like being myself there- love the Aussie mentality-
it was great to patch a Koala and see some kangaroos and even snakes
in a wildlife park- they are also completely harmless- unless they bite
you. By crikey, man! A week was not enough but better than nothing,
had the best milk shakes there again and it brought back some sweet
memories of my first trip two years ago when I was in Cairns and Port
Douglas, gotta go there again someday soon and then stay in this lovely
place. And the food is so delicious there, too. If anyone needs a cheap
flight then just hop to Macao and take Flyvivamacau www.flyvivamacau.com
and get a reasonable round trip- I did it and can’t complain at
all about them.
My time in Hong Kong is coming to an end as I resigned
these days and will go back to Germany in July for a long rest and some
leisure time- the stress here really killed me and enough is enough-
I know when it is time to go and although it was an interesting experience
for me to live here for a while I will move on- actually I feel better
than ever now, so free and independent and so I make some travel plans
(a lot actually…), so before heading back to Germany in midst
of July I probably travel around a bit, to Vietnam and Thailand most
likely, visit some friends and relax a bit in the sunshine. Would like
to go to Halong bay again and maybe to Phuket or so.
I know the English section of my website is not as
big as the German one, so you gotta get used to that. Learn German,
it only takes 5 years…. For all the others, I am having this “News”
section where from time to time I am going to write some philosophical
stuff like now and you can see where I am or what kind of things I am
going to do. I wanna say a big Thanks to my dear friend ‘Daniel”,
you are really a nice guy, it was nice to finally meet you here in Hong
Kong before flying to Germany a few weeks ago (I don’t know how
I could get that plane at the final call I reached it …), had
a great evening and we hopefully meet again in summer in Berlin or so.
I am proud of the new gallery of Sydney and surroundings and you contributed
a great deal for doing this website- this is so great, don’t know
how to thank you actually. Enjoy planning your holidays for 2009. There
is no better things to do than traveling and making plans.
Also nice to stay in touch with old friends and new ones and friends
I thought I have- who knew? Whatever happens, happens- I am heading
to be in Germany this summer, love to enjoy the atmosphere in some beer
gardens in Freiburg, swim in some pools and meet my old friends again
after haven’t seen them for a long time- if the weather is fine
a barbecue could be quite nice, sitting near a fire place and playing
guitar.
So, that is all I wanna say here, you see I am
still alive and feeling better than ever, so to leave here with a message-
life’s what you make it! Enjoy the summer and be yourself. Cheers,
folks.
